This past weekend, we got to go to the Wet and Wild Parade for the first time ever. This is a parade where floats include people with water guns who shoot out at the crowds. The crowd brings water guns to fight back. Unfortunately, being our first time at the parade, we thought to bring guns but no water. Thus we did not get as wild as we did get wet. But next year, I'm thinking we need to have our own float for The Water Fight Professional. How fun would that be?

Here is a pic of my kids at the parade. Jordan is the one with his arms in the air--the one who inspired my book in the first place. Henceforth, I shall refer to him as the REAL water fight professional.
