Award-Winning Characters

I often receive fan mail asking what happened to my characters after the book ended. Answer: I don't know.

They're not real people. And I haven't written anything else about them. So I usually just ask what the reader thinks happened to them. This is where fan fiction comes from, isn't it? Kinda cool having other people continue the stories I started.

But after reading my kids' yearbooks where students are awarded things like "Most Likely to Succeed," I decided that though a future isn't written for my characters, I could guess which direction they might head. I give you, my award-winning characters:

Jim is home from work today, so I told him about this blog. He said, "What award are you giving to yourself?"

"None," I replied. "What award would you give me?"

"Most likely to give out awards."

So there you go.

Have you ever won an award like this? Which of the awards above would you be most likely to receive?
