Christian Fiction Scavenger Hunt Stop #14

Welcome to the Christian Fiction Scavenger Hunt! If you’ve just discovered the hunt, be sure to start at Stop #1, and collect the clues through all the stops, in order, so you can enter to win one of our top 5 grand prizes!

  • The hunt BEGINS on 11/7 at noon MST with Stop #1 at LisaTawnBergren.com. Hunt through our loop using Chrome or Firefox as your browser (not Explorer).

  • There is NO RUSH to complete the hunt—you have all weekend (until Sunday, 11/10 at midnight MST)! So take your time, reading the unique posts along the way; our hope is that you discover new authors/new books and learn new things about them.

  • Submit your entry for the grand prizes by collecting the CLUE on each author’s scavenger hunt post and submitting your answer in the Rafflecopter form at the final stop, back on Lisa’s site. Many authors are offering additional prizes along the way!

If we've never met before, I'm Angela Ruth Strong, and I write with heart and humor. Whether you enjoy contemporary romance, romantic suspense, or cozy mystery, I've got a book for you!

My latest novel, A Cuppa Trouble, is the second book in The CafFUNated Mysteries. Plans for a Valentine's Day grand opening of a small town coffee shop go awry when the first customer is killed. Evidence points toward the victim being mixed up in a car theft ring, but shop owners Tandy and Marissa have reason to believe he was framed. Without approval from either their boyfriends or the gum-chewing FBI agent in charge, the shop owners go on stakeouts, plan stings, and pursue justice in a high-speed car chase. If they don't find the killer soon, it might be more than their love lives in trouble.

Like Tandy and Marissa, I'm also adventurous, so I love to personally try out the things my characters do. For A Cuppa Trouble, I had my writing group stuff me in the trunk of a car to see if I could escape.

Other research has included whitewater rafting with my kids, riding a Harley to Montana, taking a stagecoach ride in Wyoming, and cruising the River Walk in San Antonio.

One of my favorite settings to research was Miami. A writer friend and I rented a convertible and drove to Key West. I hope you'll come join me for more writing adventures on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram!
